Tell us. Every storage time and temperature on this site is taken from USDA guidance, and if something here contradicts the current published figures we want to fix it rather than defend it. Include the page and the figure you think is wrong, and we will check it against the source.
Before You Write About a Specific Piece of Meat
We cannot tell you whether the chicken in your fridge is safe. We have not seen it, smelled it or touched it, and those are the checks that decide. Our guides explain what the signs mean so you can make that call yourself.
